Scholarships & Bursary

Scholarships and bursaries make a positive impact on the community, providing financial assistance to deserving students pursuing higher education. Nanaimo Airport Commission is committed to assisting students by designating funds to help ease the financial pressures faced by post-secondary students.

Our scholarship and bursary program extends annual awards to deserving students throughout our service area. Scholarships are available for graduates of public secondary schools from School Districts 68, 69, 70 and 79. We also offer scholarships and bursaries for students attending any campus of Vancouver Island University. For students interested in pursuing aviation as a career, we support a scholarship program partnership with the BC Aviation Council (BCAC).
